This was my first trip to Big Bay de Noc this season. We left the Nahma boat launch about 6:30 am with the intention of finding a big walleye for 14 year old Kyle Gibson of Green Bay Wisconsin to put on the wall. Though we only had about 6 walleye bites today, he did land his mounter. She came in at 29 1/2 inches! We also landed a 27 1/2 incher, 20 incher and had two more real nice fish come un-hooked. One of which I think was bigger than his 30 incher. Oh well, we'll get her next time. The bite is pretty good now that the water has finally warmed up. We'll see you on the water folks...
