I was in Boca Grande Pass the weekend of May 18th through May 20th catching Tarpon. This time of year the tarpon have migrated to Boca Grande Pass to spawn. During this time of year many anglers head to to world famous pass to catch trophy sized tarpon. During our trip we boated 22 tarpon and had to many hookups to count. Most of the tarpon caught averaged around 130lbs to 170lbs. One tarpon that we caught was well over 200lbs.

If you are looking to add catching a tarpon onto your resume, this is the time of year to do it!
