Today's trip was just a half day with Josh, Jeremy and Roy Seitz. We got on the water a little late because they had a slow trip down Highway 13 this morning. They had to stop several times for deer and they even saw a bear cross the road. We made it to the north end shortly after 7 a.m. and we didn't have the lines in the water 5 minutes before we had action. We were trolling Walleyes Choice harnesses at 1 mph. Best colors were I-42 and I-62. We ended up with 13 keepers from 15 to 24 inches, several throwbacks and a couple of perch. If you're heading up Hwy 13 tonight and smell fresh fish cooking...it just might be them. Here's a couple pictures of today's trip. Good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area, so far it's been a good opening week.
