Conditions couldn't have been worse for most of the day. Tried to fish the channels but with the outgoing on top and hard incoming underneath, plus a NW wind, we couldn't hold with 20 ounces!!! Tried the shallower water caught a few shorts and a couple keepers, not enough to do battle with the elements.

Fished the beach with a perfect drift, just not many fish. Started back at the begining to end the day. Found a very nice 8 1/2 pounder for the pool, Doc Keith had a 4 1/2, Major John at the whistle landed a 3 1/2 pounder. High hook was Vinny C with 4 quality keepers.

Still, the fishing was like dying a slow death as said by Capt. George!!
