As if today wasn't tough enough with the wind and horrible fishing (unless you wanted to jig Blues all day) I recieved a phone call around 10:30 am from Tom Krako telling me Drew Warden/Sayerville, had been killed in a motorcylce accident on Saturday. Drew fished with us on Friday and normally would try to make it twice a week. He loved the ocean, sports and anything that was a challange. At 26 years old, you ask yourself, Why? Just in the past year we have lost Doc Wagner, Eddie Gallman (my deckhand of 17 years), my brother in law Darrel (5 days after eddies death) and now Drew. Kinda puts life in perspective. All the rage about fishing regs, quota's and all the other crap we worry about seem to disapear. I read that his family is having him cremated, I only hope they give me the honor of burying him at sea....Fish on Drew!!! Capt.ron
