Once again, can't call what we've had the past few days GOOD FISHING. Running all over the ocean and bay trying to find a decent bite. Not much in the way of bait or readings. The readings we did find, haven't produced. A couple keepers a couple shorts, the first bluefish of the season were caught today...Looking back at last season, the 4th of May was a banner day, the next day was crap!!! That seems to be the way it went for the month. Couldn't put 3 days of good fishing together. Hopefully that will change this season.

I certainly don't see huge schools of bunker coming into the bay, the bait that was around last week has disappeared!!! Normal April to May transition, excited as hell one week, ready to shoot myself the next!!

Ah, to be a Party boat Captain!!! Capt.ron
