This season we are moving our start up date too April 11, 2009 (Saturday). The extra week, (last season was the 4th) will hopefully bring about warmer weather as well as water temps.

I anticipate the cycle to be the same as past seasons with the smaller fish (18 to 25 inch)being the norm. From the second week of May on, we should see the keeper bass comming aboard (28 inch and up). Even though the spring run last season was a bit dissapointing, I'm looking to 2009 with a possitive outlook! As we say, every year, every day is a new ball game. I hope to have some great reports and look foward to meeting and fishing with any new fishermen that would like to fish with me.....Capt.Ron
