Some patience paid off today waiting for the right conditions....

Started out with guys using 12 ounces to hold bottom. The Current of top was still running out while on the bottom it was running in (Hard)!! When all got right, the bite was on! Much easier to fish with a light crowd (unfortunatly for me) than a gang of people, so we could drift one side and keep the customers out of tangles.

New Big Pool leader and the first double digit fish in the Harbor with Jack Butler, Perth Amboy landing a very nice 10.8 pound beauty! Fish looked like 14pounds to me after so many 17 inchers!!

Jerry Krako had his limit with 6 quality fish along with a couple customers with 3 and 5 keepers.

A nice Striper added to the mix kept everyone on thier toes. Amazing what the right conditions will do for you, especially after yesterday when I wanted to kick the dog!!!!!!!

Capt. Frank went to the SLAUGHTER, MASSACRE, EPIC FISHING grounds last night and caught CRAP!! Terrible first night of Blue fishing even after the HOT reports from the day boats...........Capt.ron
