Today was not a "Slaughter or Massacre" two words that should be removed from fishing (in my opinion). We did have a couple good shots in the A.M. on jigs, problem was the fish were just a tad too far offshore.

Had to leave the area after our drift of the day. No doubt had we been able to fish an hour or so we would have limited out the boat. A mile of gannets hitting the water, readings on the machine that were unreal and yet 1 mile too far put the kibash to all of that!!!

The inshore bite was very early, the clam bite didn't happen and by 2:15 the rabbit died!!

Couple guys had thier limit but certainly not the norm as many customers had none. Tough to swallow after the past 5 trips with the best fishing I have seen in years.

Back at it again tomorrow!!!
