Started the morning off with the last of the incoming tide, had a nice pick going on mostly keepers. Knew from the past 2 days once the current started to run we would be in trouble! Boat load of customers 2.4 knot current, most couldn't hold with 12 ounces no matter where we would go, once the tide changed. Did the Earth tilt the wrong way the past week or am I missing something? New Moon, Old moon, what the hell is going on? Still put some nice keepers in the boat. Jim Learn had a good 5 plus pound pool fish. Shrimp Man Steve, back from his Montauk adventure had plenty of action, even landed a Striper at 24 inches. Too see his face when he hooked up was priceless, thought he had the Fluke of a lifetime!!!! 24 inch bass, 2.4 knot tide, fish hooked in the side = 12 pound Fluke at least.....sorry Steve!

Had several guys who where out Wednesday and limited out that got the skunk today....one day a hero, next day a bum! Capt. Ron
