Not a good bite today, the first in 17 trips! Had to know it was gonna happen with some new customers on the boat. Started out jigging, couldn't pass the bird life. Only problem was the fish were wild chasing the bait, saw them rolling on top and didn't read them on the bottom....not good. made 2 drifts caught a keeper bass and 2 blues. Went and anchored up to take advatage of the last of the current....NG. Took a ride to find better action, NG again, some dog fish a few shorts. Ran back to the North where we caught a handfull of keepers and some shorts. Very tough to say the least. Pool fish went 17 pounds. Read enough fish on the last drop, just couldn't get them to eat....Tomorrow's another day. Capt.ron
