Didn't sail yesterday so today was like starting over again. Decided to start where we've been fishing for a couple weeks. Took the ride and was not happy with the quality of the water. Two days ago it was gin clear, today with the outgoing tide and runoff from yesterday....nasty. Fished two quick drops and never had a bite. Got outta there fast and ran back to the North. Anchored up and had fish on immediatly!! Shorts and keepers. Bite lasted till 11:30 with steady fishing the whole time. Mortgage Man Eric had the hot hand today as it was his turn in the barrel along with my dad, Hammer and Tom. Some nicer fish up to 18 pounds for the pool. Russ Zimmer and son had 3 nice keepers also. Huge swell in the ocean didn't effect the bite either. Chartered Saturday AM....open again on Sunday 7:30am. No jigging for us today all bait fishing....Capt.Ron
