Doesn't look good for Saturday, Had to cancel my charter! Weather, SE 20 and gusty with rain, then Gale for the afternoon and evening.....Today we started where we have been fishing for 14 straight days. Anchored up and proceeded to catch Horn dogs. started out with one or two then all hell broke loose!!! Guess they moved in overnight. Left the area to fish some old time spots. Had fish, shorts and keepers on the first drop until we lost the tide. Got swamped by boats and in the shallow water, this isn't gonna work. Made a move further to the South, had a couple fish right away, got swamped again! Left that area and went offshore, jigged some of the biggest bluefish of the season, only saw one big bass chase a lure to the top, other than that, no takers! Plenty of action, just not the right kind. Handfull of keepers and plenty of Blues. Back at it Sunday.....capt.ron
