After catching dog fish on the bait and chasing jig fish for a week, today the bite was on with the clams!! Had a charter with Interior Managment, unfortunatly (for them) only 8 showed up. Left in heavy fog and once around the hook, a huge swell. Knew the jig fishing would be very tough so we anchored up on some hard bottom and clammed. Had fish on within 3 minutes, then, non-stop action till it was time to come home. Nice mix of fish from tiny shorts to 4 fish that went 33 to 35 inches!! Two of the ladies had never fished before had better than 10 fish each....Weatherman looking to kill us for the weekend. Will fish tomorrow and keep an eye on Sunday. Gusts to 40 gets a little hairy (if we get it). Capt.ron
