The Monday gang were out in force today..adrenaline and testosterone running rampent from Thursday and Fridays report. Got a call that the bite was on, which made it even worse! Ran the hour and forty minutes to the "hot spot", had Bass flippin bunker out of the water, got set up on the drift, naturally my Dad hooked up first, a very nice 20+ pound fish. No other bites. Wind came South..made another drift, Dad hooked up again, same results, no other bites. Bunker went into stealth mode and dissapered, still read loads of fish and didn't have a touch....Left the area and headed back to the Rocks, two drops there NG!! Made a last ditch effort to the North and caught 1 more keeper, not 1 Bluefish today. Very dissapointing as we missed the early bite by a half hour. Will give it two more days then switch to Fluke fishing. Chartered Thursday and Saturday Morning this week. Capt.ron
