Seems the hot action of the past couple weeks never happened today! Had a good swell and way too much current in the AM. Thought if we toughed it out, by the change of tide the bite would be on like yesterday. No such luck! The swell did lay down, the drift went to crap and the fish didn't bite! Had a handfull of keepers (someone with a small hand) and no action on the shorts to keep the guys busy. Didn't see much bait at all until we got close to the knoll on the way in. It was bound to happen sooner or later, the great fishing we've had can't last forever. Tomorrow we'll give it hell again, hopefully with better results...may look at some new area's before the season ends, just depends on conditions in the AM.....Capt.Frank had very good blue fishing again last night, mostly on the bait. Only sailing Sat. & Sunday afternoons 3:30pm till 9:30pm, come on down for some of the best action all season. Capt. Ron
