Morning started out slow with the last of the incoming tide against the wind. Found a good reading and anchored up. Had a slow one, one pick on mostly short fish for an hour and a half. Did manage 2 keepers. Once the tide changed we put the boat on a drift, still couldn't get past a one or 2 fish drift until the end of the day. Breeze laid down, current got just right and the bite was on! Had 3 drifts with up to 5 keepers on each, then back to a couple. Ended the day with 28 keepers plus a mess of shorts. Thanks to Jim Tobak for the Fishermens stress doll..had that sucker torn apart by 11 am, but slowly managed to get it back together by the end of the day. Jim had his limit and then some. Joe, Andy and the boys from Anchor Inn never lost thier faith and ended the day with a couple beauties in the box. Pool fish was caught by Wolfgang from Anchor inn, weighted inn at 19.4 pounds....Capt.ron
