I've said it a thousand times "One day a hero, next day a bum"!! Today proved it once again. Zigzagged our way out through the fog and countless boats this morning only to find a desert!! Had the last of the incoming and caught 1 keeper. Made a shift at the change hoping the bite would turn on like yesterday. Had a shot of 3 fish and figured we were in...no such luck! Waited till the current ran hard, NG. Left the area to search the next desert. A couple blues, couple keepers on 3 drops, Ng. Finished the day back up to the North with a half dozen shorts. Had to know with the weekend crowd, a good bite for 5 days, that this would happen.

Ended up with a handful of keepers, some blues and probably a whole bunch of disappointed customers....no more than me though!

Mike Reynolds was the only real bright spot today as he celebrated his

15th birthday by winning the pool with a nice 14 pound fish! Mike fished with us a couple years ago with his Dad, when he could barley see over the rail and had a great day. I think he is now hooked!! Capt.ron
