After a dismal Spring Striper run, it's time to surrender! Ran way to the South again today, had fresh Bunker, live bunker, dead ones, you name it, caught dogfish, no Bass. Seems the bite has been hot early in the morning then again late in the afternoon. Tired of beating myself up waiting for more steady action. Fluke fishing from Friday on....Mopar Charlie won the big striper pool with a very nice 28.8 pound bass he caught on Thursday...Some very positive news coming from the Saw meetings and Dr. Munder. Looks like all the money donated so far hasn't gone in vain, we still need lots more to keep the ball rolling, please continue to support SSFFF. We will be attending an open public meeting at the Belmar Pavillion on Tuesday, we will be updating where we are with the current Fluke sitiuation. Hope you can attend. 7:00pm. Chartered Thursday AM and Saturday AM trips this week.
