Got lucky in The AM despite some CRAP conditions. Had a nice pick and stayed with it as there really weren't too many places to go. Tommy Krako just missed his limit with 5 good fish in the box for high hook. Several nice fish from 3 1/2 to 7 pounds on the pool fish. Rocco Farrina and Vinny Fantastic also had 3 nice keepers.

Gave the channels a shot at the change of tide, that lasted 2 drifts, didn't see the bite happining so we ran back to the knoll to finish it up. Rolled our Crueler off all day trying to put a catch together. In the end we still had a half way decent amount of keepers.

Probably lost the biggest Fluke of my life today! Bouncing a bucktail and 1/4 ounce spro tipped with a Sea Robin strip, sucker slammed me like never before, had the rod bent in half, felt two huge head shakes as I lifted him off the bottom and BAM...gone!!! That's what keeps me coming back...just wish I could have seen it, but tomorrow is another day..................Bluefishing last night was the absolute S***S, one fish and 2 lost. Tonight is a little different story with a bite going on as I type. Capt.ron
