Spent the day switching from Anchor to the drift...caught half a dozen keepers on the first drop, but I wasn't happy with the bite, didn't show too much promise so we left the area....Tried a couple drifts only a few fish, went back on the anchor until the change of tide....Back to the drift for the afternoon, the fishing was much better. Tom (Zambony) had the hot hand landing 8 fish plus the pool winner. Danny Wistuk, Hillsboro had his 3. Naturally Capt.Ron Sr. got his, including a very nice 18 pounder!! Found the first real Jig fish at the end of the day, some big blues with bass mixed in them. Took all day to get it done but the end result was a nice full barrel of racks!!! Looks perfect for Friday....Saturday is Chartered...Capt.ron
