Waited patiently the past 2 weeks tossing back hundreds of non-keepers, today was the day!! Started out in the bird life down the beach, had 3 keepers on the first drift with mostly smaller ones coming in. Bite was hot till slack water, when things slowed to a pick. Made some long drifts getting shots of bass and blues. Moved off too deeper water after the change and glad we did, the first 2 fish in the boat were 25 and 24 pounds!! Huge area of Gannets got the blood boiling and the bite was on again!! 3 of us had the nets going for the last hour and a half of the day. Best fall fishing day of the season so far!! Can't wait till tomorrow....Capt.ron
