A little over two weeks ago we had Dan Lanford, his dad Bob and his sons Caleb and Fred out of Alabama aboard the Majek. The wind was down first thing but picked up; the water was up and looked great until the wind turned it over. We fished hard until 12:30 to finish with their limit.

Three weeks ago we had Logan Martin and Stan out of Alabama aboard the Majek. That day was more of the same with very high winds, very low and very dirty water. We fished hard until 3:30 putting 9 in the box and missing the 10th at the boat twice.

A few weeks ago we had Kathleen and Nancy out of Michigan aboard the Majek. Another day of very high winds, very low and very dirty water made it a challenge. We fished hard until 1:30 keeping 5, 3 to take to Crave for lunch, and 2 to grill on the half shell later.

A few weeks ago we had repeat clients Jarrod Barnes, John, Treyton, and Baedon out of Texas aboard the Majek. Another day of very high winds, very low and very dirty water made it a challenge. We fished hard until 1:30 putting 15 in the box plus a sheepshead while another 7 got away to fight another day.

Today we helped Captain Chad Dufrene with Dufrene's Guide Service on a two boat trip. The bite started slow but picked up as water temps rose. They ended the day with 15 keepers and 28 total on the clicker.

Just over two weeks ago we had Keith Wooley and Troy Wester out of Colorado and Missouri aboard the Majek. A cold Front greeted us once again with spitting rain and falling temps through the day and wind built steadily turning N N/E by mid-day. They weren’t keeping fish so we went to work, never finding anything stacked but we figured them out by 10 and caught and released 14 before calling it a day.

A few weeks ago we headed out after some more of these winter Delacroix redfish but a steady rain greeted us as we backed the boat out. We got on a steady pattern and boated fish at every stop putting their limit together in time to make it to town for lunch.
