Hello again from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters. The month of March was spotty at best. The winds were blowing most of the month with a few days that cooperated to get out comfortably.

This particular trip starts out with a tough time catching some live bait. But we managed to obtain several dozen baits for the livewell. After getting our bait we head out into clear blue water of the Eight Mile Reef.Temperature of the water is 75 degrees.Wind is blowing from the NW.We lay out three lines two rigs up & one down. All with Suffix Hi-Vis line 25-30 pound test.

All have flurocarbon leaders of 50 pound test and cirlce hooks of #5.Baits are hooked three different ways to insure of covering all levels f the thermal climb temperature range. After a short wait we hook up with several dolphin in the 6-10 range maybe a little bigger. The rest of the day were several cut-offs by King fish. That's the report from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters.
