Finally caught some keeper Stripers today, even though the bite was short lived...84 year old Lou Ciavatti started off the fall fishing with the first bass, a beauty at 22 pounds! Had another 4 keepers and a couple shorts for the 6 customers who showed today...Had a few good readings with fish close to the bottom, still couldn't get them to bite hard.

Colder temps will turn things on for sure. All fish were caught on clams, heard of fish also being caught on eels and worms. Capt.ron
