This is a return to my roots. One of the first things I learned about fishing was that fish look for the most food with the least amount of effort. With that in mind food flows down stream. When it empties into a lake or pond the fish wait there without having to fight the current.

Cottonwood Creek empties into a large pond just before Wasilla Lake. I found nice fish there just waiting. I caught several fish in the 14 to 18 inch rage.
