Fished a half day to day with two young guys who where out practicing for a tournament that they have coming up. Stopped at the first spot around 7:45 or 8:00 and with in 10 minutes 1 caught the first fish which was a good solid 3 to 3/12 pound football. Made a few more cast and stuck a big that pulled off and threw back out there and caught another 3 pound fish and when I hooked up the boy in the back said I got one to and his was about 4 1/2 to 5 pounds. That was pretty much the story of the day. We fished 5 or 6 more places and got bites on 4 of them. If you haven't got a bite with in 20 minutes or so you best move on and come back later. We caught 12 or so and called it a day. Once they seen that the fish were there we were gone. Caught fish on traps and jigs and he caught one on a shaky head that he had tied on. Most fish cam from the 2 to 4 foot range and the others were in the 7 to 10 foot range.

Still have a few days for Mach open if any one is interested.

Good luck and keep it safe.
