Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 10/2/21
We saw an increase in sun and air temperature this week and for me it presented a problem, after the first few hours the bass seemed to bury in the grass forcing us to do a lot of moving and spot checking to get a bite. Have no fear though as the forecast is back to overcast and cooler temperatures and we should benefit from it.
It is certainly search bait time of year as my bites are coming on SPRO rattle baits, SPRO frogs, spinner baits and chatter baits. There is also an enormous number of crawfish in the lake causing me to fish Tight-Line jigs and Tight-Line swim jigs as another alternative.
