Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 2/6/21

This is turning out to be a longer winter so far than the past several years, we are still very cold and there is colder weather to come so now there is no end in site to the low water temperatures. Add it all up and fishing is taking a hit as we are still seeing water temps in the mid 40’s slowing the bite and making you day long and tedious. Only the most dedicated and tough are finding enough bites to call it a good day.

We are still very much into reaction bites with SPRO rattle baits, Picasso chatter baits my main two weapons on a daily basis; we are also fishing Tight-Line swim jigs, Picasso spinner baits when the grass is too thick to pull the others through the grass.
