Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 4/3/21
The beginning of the week and the end of this past week was completely different for me, but so was the weather. We went from 70-degree days and 50-degree nights to the 20’s at night and strong north winds that completely changed the bite for me. It is amazing how the constant change in conditions is affecting the fishing daily!
We spent the early part of the week working along spawning flats and depth changes allowing us to get in a good roll catching fish and it all changed and so did our baits. We started with Missile Bait 48 stick baits and D-Bombs some Picasso chatter bait and Tight-Line swim jigs and football jigs then changing to SPRO rattle baits, and SPRO square bills to get noticed in the muddy high water.
