Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5/9/20
The one thing you can generally count on in May is consistent weather; this generally adds up to a consistent bite for May however; as has been the case all year the constant change in weather patterns have continued adding up to up and down fishing. One day good, one day great another day not so good; over coming is the key, being persistent and working different patters is all you can do.
Baits this week we spent a lot of time rolling Picasso Spinner Baits, Tight Line swim jigs and working Missile bait D-Bombs along edges and corners and points where there is bait activity. We fished mainly 10 ft. to 3 ft. of water in many different areas, from grass to humps, points, shell beds and more. Finding activity was the key and most of the time if you could find bait you got bites.
