Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/17/21
The measure of summertime fishing in the heat and bright sunshine is not always as it appears; this past week at least early in the week was a struggle then for some reason it all turned, and the last part of the week Guntersville was on fire. I must admit it changed a bunch, but it was always fun with some great customers and lots of laughs and good fishing the end of the week.
Baits were pretty much common summertime type, Missile Bait 48 stick baits, D-Bombs, Tight-Line jigs and football jigs, Picasso buzz baits and some SPRO frog action throughout the week. We also observed lots of chasing with schooling fish and did run some swim baits through them producing some bites through out the mornings.
