Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/6/19
The heat, bright sun and traffic on the water for the week of the 4th certainly changed the lake for me, most of the week we chased schooling fish to catch numbers the bad news was they were small, the good news; we caught lots of fish; with one exception which we had a great day for size with 21 lbs. best 5 fish. There is no doubt the summertime bite is different and catching is not as easy as it was. Yes, were having fun and catching fish but its not like it was a month ago.
We caught many of our fish on top water baits Picasso buzz baits, Zara Spooks and Pop-R’s were the best baits; we also caught some on our go to Tight-Line swim jigs and Missile Bait Shock Wave swim baits. Most of our fish were over or in the grass in about 8 ft. of water.
Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water. We are fishing several days a week; the mornings and late afternoons are producing good fish.
