With the month of August moving behind us and the September bite on the way we are seeing some of the best top water action of the year; and everyday it appears to get better. I must admit this might be the best top water action I have seen in several years; that said the frog bite is on its way!
Don’t let the past years change your thoughts on the top water bite as its as good as it gets right now, with Picasso buzz baits, Zara spooks and pop-r’s are catching great numbers every- day we are on the water. The better news; if you can take the heat it gets better as the day goes on. Find the grass look for some movement and work the top and your catching fish!
