Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/12/20
With cooler air temperatures the fish have turned on as I had the best day, I have had in three months during this past week. Its amazing what a little fall like weather will do; it gave them energy and sent them into some feeding frenzy early this fall as compared to last year at the same time. It was lots of fun as we combined good numbers with good size.
This past week chasing baits turned on as we caught fish on Picasso Spinner baits and Chatter baits and Picasso Buzz baits, Tight-Line swim jigs, Missile Bait 48 stick baits and SPRO square bill crank baits. We fished mainly 5 to 9 ft. of water looking for cover and cooling water temperatures. Keep moving cover ground the fish are grouped up and when you find one you should find several.
