tampa bay fl, fishing report with captain tony frankland www.catchsnook.com

the days have been getting shorter for sure! that means cooler water in the days to come that cooler water with help turn on the bite. trout are holding in the deep grass flats and are very hungry live scaled sardines have been working best but gold spoons have also so been catching a lot of trout and redfish. if the redfish become picky with live bait use some cut bait on them the scent will draw them in. artifical reefs and deep water in tampa bay area! are also holding large schools of mackerel. mangrove snapper continue to be large at this time they are around the bridges and rock areas of tampa bay. snook are around and eating best on the outgoing tides.
