Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 2/14/15
Without a doubt fishing took a step backwards this past week, cold wind and pattern change seemed to be the story of the week. We had one day where they seemed to be turned on then the weather changed drastically and all the gain in conditions was lost with weather being different from the beginning of the week to the end.
The bite seems to be fairly consistent as far as presentation was concerned, the typical winter bait bite fishing a SPRO McRip jerk bait was our most consistent bait with some fish coming on a SPRO Aruka Shad rattle bait as our back up to the slow presentation of the jerk bait. With that we fished Tight-Line swim jig with Missile Bait Shock Wave swim bait and at times it caught a few fish.
This next week if the weather man is correct could be just awful and put us back into some mid January patterns until it corrects itself toward the end of the week. Come fish with me no one will treat you better, I have guides and days available to fish with you.
