Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 8/10/13
The biggest obstacle to catching fish this past week, was getting run off the lake by lightning, the time we were on the water was extremely productive. If you wanted to catch numbers that was easy by working Spro Fat Papa crank baits, or if you wanted size that was all about Tight-Line jigs with D-Bomb trailers.
It's been an amazing run all summer long, with very little typical 100 degree type heat; instead it has been relatively cool and the water temperatures are low in comparison to other summers and the bass with very few exceptions are continuing to feed!
We had days with 30 plus fish in a short few hours on the lake and we caught size with stringers over 20 pounds in short trips on the water! The fishing is great the Spro frog bite is on and the Spro Tournament is a month away! Come fish with me I have days and guides available all fall to fish with you!
