Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 8/4/12
The ups and downs continued this past week, bites were hard to find most of the week but there were signs that we are starting to turn the corner. We had periods where we were catching fish it certainly wasn't great but at times we had good catches.
I spent most of the week up river looking for frog bites with the 2 big frog tournaments coming up so I can help my customers looking to compete in the Snag Proof or Spro frog tournament, the 11th and 25th respectively of August. We have caught some good size on the Spro frog just not consistent enough to really brag about.
Fishing is Ok getting better as the summer moves on and there is plenty of good fall action right around the corner. If you're looking for some help for a tournament give me a ring I have days available to fish with you! Fall fishing is next!
