The Inlet at Daytona Beach is loaded with over size redfish with most going 20-40 pounds. Drifting Ponce Inlet 2 days ago with free lined greenies and larger 10-12 inch mullet worked well on the "bulls". We boated 3 up to 38 pounds along with jumping what looked like at least a 100 pound tarpon. The tarpon shook free but having him on and tail walking across the inlet on an out going time sure was a sight to see! (along with other fisherman watching!)

Toss pogies, greenies, live blue crabs or large mullet as you do a drift through the inlet this time of year. No weight as the tarpon and redfish are close to the surface with the mullet run getting started.

Call me and we can venture to the inlet for monster reds and tarpon, but remember, your arms could be quite sore after this trip!!!!!!!!!!
