Excellent bottom fishing some of the best tog fishing in years and all the jumbo porgies you wanted even added a nice size Cod to the catch. I joined my friend Kevin and his dad for a day of tog fishing and it was excellent, We honestly had 3 fish over 7 pounds in under 20 minutes! Now we went into catch and release mode that was non stop action. Kevin's dad was using clam and catching jumbo porgies at a nice pace along with some nice sea bass that we had to release. Pops rod doubles over I thought he had a few porgies on at once but it turned out to be a nice size cod. Great day on the water.
