Holy Shrimp! 9' Sawfish Under the bridge by Robbies! We were fishing a total black-out night. No Signage or adequate markers, just the keen eyes of teenage fishing masters Ryan and Collin Abbott of Captain Greg's Abbott's Family Charters, the best around! That night we caught big sand, black tip, and various unidentifiable sharks. (*Note to self; Don't Scuba the Keys at Night!) We were floating and sinking frozen Threadfin Herring, and we swore one of the lines was on a rock, until this monster shook its head, chainsaw nose poking out of the water, Ryan Abbott yelled, SAWFISH! The boy fought this fish so long he became a man! I saw the look in his eyes, when this fish was photo-ed and released on the side of the 20' Fishing Cat.
