Snook fishing has really fired up at night in the Intracoastal around Jupiter. Last night (5/5) I had a trip with Bill Danzig who was looking for a little Palm Beach County Inshore help. We left Burt Reynolds park around 7:30 and headed down south in the Intracoastal(ICW). The stiff south breeze kept the tide coming in a little longer than usual and the fish responded nicely. We had action right off the bat and it lasted a better part of the trip. Fishing DOA Shrimp and CAL jerkbaits produced the best bites, with a lot of quality fish. They all fell just short of the 28" mark, but we sure did catch a lot of them. I think the final count last night was somewhere between 10-12 snook, lots of jacks, and a few moonfish mixed in.

The snoo ite should continue to stay hot through this month and right on into the summer closed season. Go get some DOA Lures, Power-Pro Line, and Calico Jack Rods and get out and give those snook a hard time!!!

Good Luck and Thanks For Reading,

Todd
