After turning 38 last Tuesday I decided to take the week off - it was great to get to relax a little...in fact I had it planned that way as a carrot in front of the Ox cart for surviving another summer and we had a family trip which we made one day instead of two days..Anyway, Leon, Scott, Hunter and Bill took the trips the last 3 days..pretty much a mix..mostly tuna fish..highlights included blue marlin and a 190# tuna..my wife and kids were out with me yesterday for a family fun trip..we lost a blue marlin and boated a dolphin..the marlin bite came at the end of the day and it was the fish we were waiting for..makes me want more..Scott L. was running Hunter's boat yesterday and had 6 yellowfins for Powell Smith and his boys..Leon ran an overnighter and had 11 yellowfins including the 190# fish and a blue marlin on the first bait back..

Capt Bill had his first frustrating day of the summer yesterday coming home with a single yelowfin and 1 for 12 on amberjack..nothng would go right..I had some friends who hooked and fought 11 swordfish two nights ago releasing 8 and keeping the largest a 160 pounder..everyone took advantage of Labor day..will post pics when I get them..
