It was great having Chris and Deano back aboard on Labor Day. There were heavy clouds hanging around us all morning, but the weather allowed us to squeeze a half day in safetly. After we put a couple kings and muttons in the box, Deano's drag is screaming. He's tight on a sailfish! After a few jumps, the hooked came unbuttoned. A nice show and a quick natural release. Back to fishing, to find a good King Mackerel, Aj and Snapper bite around the edge. Chris lands the fish of the day, a hefty 53 pound Kingfish. It took a run nearly spooling a TLD 20. Congrats buddy, on a great catch and some fine angling.

Fishing offshore has been good. We are seeing some scattered dolphin and sailfish! It is going to get better with fall coming! Kingfish have been aggressive on most days looking to eat live and dead bait. We have been seeing a nice mix of snapper and yellow jacks around around the edge.

Fishing inshore has been decent for snapper, snook, and jacks. Inshore will pick up as more mullet come in. September is a great month for fishing! Visit www.gettinluckyfishing.com to get hooked up! We have a couple openings in September. See you on the water.
