I had Steve Lambert out for another 5 hour trip yesterday evening. Since there was extra room in the boat, my brother Kevin tagged along with his "flip" video camera. We got on the water around 3:45 pm and it wasn't too long before the first fish was hooked. But......it happened to be a pike. Descent one though. We were trolling with leadcore line and stick baits. Thankfully there wasn't much wind since it was snowing the whole darn time. Aside from the weather, it was a pretty good evening on the water. The bite was actually best when we first got on the water and seemed to tail off the closer we got to dark. We ended up with 9 walleye, a whitefish, 2 pike, and a huge carp. A carp and a whitefish on a crankbait, now that doesn't happen too often. Good luck on the water folks...
