The great weather here in Biloxi Ms. this weekend, was thoroughly welcomed an enjoyed.Warm Temps, calm seas, combined with great companionship a strong fish bite and on that good lookin fish catching charter boat WhipaSnapa the good times were evident by all...

If you haven't tried the o'l sheepshead on the end of a lil light tackle spin cast. Then I suggest you do! What fun we have had! These guys put up a pretty good game of tug of war..and taste great too!! Its been mostly sheepshead, Friday did have 2 reds and a couple puppy drum, Sat, the fellows had a couple them great big ol mean something or another's. Yea, that means the fish won a battle or 2. Great battles they were thou while they lasted .. A couple shoots and dang's followed, then the guys shook it off and were back to smiles and some more drag rippin sheepshead action...

Mr. Reed Jordan from Madison Ms. treated his son Jeff from Tyler Texas to the great Whipasnapa lil light tackle catch and keep trip. A nice lively shrimp tossed up close to the concrete structure produced the slightest lil twitch in the line from the ol sly Mr. Sheep and then a good strong hook set and the rod bendin string pullin fun begin.....

Bait shops have been keeping plenty live shrimp, that most of the damage has been done on. These have all been 3 and 4hr trips. Can imagine the fish could have on a full day or shoot just 5 to 6 hrs. probably more then I would care to clean. Na, I enjoy the time at the fish cleaning table (means success). The sheepshead are a challenge to catch lil tough to clean but the fun and table fair make it worth the challenge. So come on down here S. Ms. and jump aboard and let's tackle a new challenge on the WhipaSnapa!!!! YOU CAN WIN ONE OF OUR GREAT TRIPS!!!! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A CHANCE AT OUR $400.00 TRIP GIVEAWAY. Bio: Capt. Robert "Earl" McDaniel was born and raised on the beautiful Back Bay Biloxi shores, and has been a licensed fishing charter boat Captain since 2001. "I have enjoyed fishing as well as boating these beautiful Mississippi waters all my life, and I enjoy it as much today as ever. What a great place to be at the ‘crack of dawn' or anytime for that matter, its just a great place to be, so I like to spend as much time possible even when not fishing, out running crab pots or catching bait. I keep a large variety of bait fish (croaker, pin fish, menhaden etc) on hand for each trip so we always have what the big fish want (specks, cobia, reds, snapper). I have always enjoyed tournament fishing, and have won several snapper, cobia, and king mackerel tournaments. I try to stay prepared for all situations on the water." The "WhipaSnapa" is a 2009, 29 foot c/c open fishermen "SOW MASTER" with twin 2009 250 Yamaha 4 strokes "SWEET". The boat has all modern conveniences including: private restroom, top notch GPS / fish finder, hard-top/enclosures to get out of the elements, plus the finest fishing tackle and weapons, "rods" on board at all times.. We carry all U.S.C.G. required safety equipment on board for the safest, most enjoyable trip. The WhipaSnapa, being just the right size, allows us to go into shallow back bay waters fairly easily to get to the specks, reds, and flounders, or out to the beautiful Barrier Islands for excellent fishing, camping, photography or just relaxing. Or we can get offshore some 100 miles to chase the big boys like "sow" red snapper, cobia, king mackerel, grouper, tuna, and sharks. One thing I have always enjoyed about a day on the wonderful Gulf of Mexico - you just never know. So come join us for a day on the WhipaSnapa and see for yourself how wonderful it can be!
