Hello Everybody,

1st Corinthians 1: Verse 30; But of Him are you in Christ JESUS, who of God is made unto us Wisdom, and Righteousness, and Sanctification, and Redemption.

SAM RAYBURN;

Well it is alot of fun Bass fishing Rayburn right now. The Frog bite has been on lately early in the pads and around grassy cover with Bass up to 7 lbs. comming in on the Media Bass circuit this last Saturday. 24 lbs. or so won the tournament.

Water is in great shape and now after all the crowds are gone is a good time to slip on the Lake and catch some of those green Fish.

Water temps were 86 and the topwater bite is on early. Try the spro frog for a slower pace and then the Stanley Ribbit is hard to beat if they want it faster.

Good colors had Chartruse and Yellow in them on the spro and greens and Natural colors on the Stanley for me. Cast them in the slop and work them being alert. When the Bass blows hesitate just a second to let Her get it in her mouth good then set the hook. 50 -60 lb. braid works best for these Rayburn Hogs. They will pull you through the pads and the Hydrilla to pull you off and many will succeed.

Bass were also hitting the Nichols Shattered Glass blade pattern in 3/8 ounce worked around the shallow flats early.

Texas 10.5 Ole monster worms by Zoom in Plum and Plum Apple and Redbug caught some really Quality Bass worked on light Carolina rigs and Texas rigs around the Hydrilla in 8-12 Feet.

LAKE PALESTINE;

Well the bite is exciting at Lake Palestine. Bass are schooling off main Lake Points and the DD22 in Rootbeer Chartruse will get you alot of Bass right now. The recent run off from some heavy rains produced muddy waters in the North of the Lake in such areas as Kickapoo and the Neches River Area.

Look for the shad schools on your graphs . Spool up a medium rod with 10-12 lb. Flurocarbon Line then have some fun. White Bass and a few Hybrid Stripers also hit them.

Up in the creeks early Bass were hitting topwater Frogs such as the Stanley Ribbit frog in Green Pumpkin back and Pearl Belly. Throw it up in the grassy areas of vegetation and work it back slowly as the Bass engulfs it hesitate for a second then pour on the coal all the way back to the boat. Mid-Lake to Dam is Clearer water color and stained to muddy to the North. Watrer temps running about the same as Rayburn 86.
