More limits of fun Sunday on the Beach. Chuck, Gary, and Vince Gagliano along with Ray King and David Roger met me at Campo's where we picked up our live shrimp before hitting the Biloxi Marsh. The morning started out cloudy, mild, and a very light wind. We started out fishing near a point in a shallow bay with Campo's shrimp under a cork. The guys caught Trout right away, but lots of throwbacks. Our next stop was a ditch that had some water moving through it and you could see the shrimp jumping and Trout chasing them. As soon as we got into position to start fishing here comes the rain. It was light and moved on trough about the time we got the rain gear out and on. The Trout were biting pretty good on both live shrimp and Gulp Shrimp under a cork. Once this bite faded we made a short move and got on a steady bite of very nice sized Trout. Only a few throwbacks mixed in. The Trout were hitting the plastic almost as good as the live, but live did have the advantage. There were a few Sheepshead also to add to the box and make things fun. As the morning went on the sky cleared and the east wind was blowing hard. We left the fish biting with full limits and plenty of time to get back to Capt. Frank's lodge to watch some football while their fish were cleaned. The guys said they had a great time and are looking to go again soon. Great group of guys that were a pleasure to fish with. Total for the day was 125 Trout, 10 Whites, 7 Sheepshead, and 1 Drum.
