Report for September 26th:

My clients on this past Wednesdays trip were the father and son team of Robert and Anthony Larson from Hampshire Illinois. We started out trolling leadcore line with crankbaits off planer boards in fairly deep water of 40-60 feet. The sky was very bright with full sunshine. Which is probably why we could not get any bites early on with the ultra clear water we have here. After a couple hours, we moved to some shallower water as the sun started losing it's intensity. And when the sun hit the horizon, the fish went berserk! We actually had five fish on at the same time!!! We ended up with a 2 man limit in a very short time. The day might have started off slow. But it ended fast and furious! Never give up folks...
